Dakota Certified Development Corporation has been providing capital for growth through the Small Business Administration’s 504 Loan program since 1983. In 1996 the corporation began a new chapter. Incorporated as a separate organization, Dakota CDC, a private not-for-profit 501(c) (3) emerged as an organization with its own name, its own identity and an agenda that requires a statewide presence.

A second office was established in Bismarck to serve small business and lenders in western North Dakota. Additional programs have been offered by adding Rural Development’s IRP loan program, the SBA MicroLoan program, the Main Street loan program and the Impact IRP.
