Proud to Support Our Communities
Main Street The Main Street program was created with a $400,000 investment from Dakota CDC. This smaller-scale loan program supports start-up, emerging small business initiatives to encourage the creation and stability of economic growth. PTAC Dakota CDC partnered with the Impact Foundation to launch the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) in 2006 to help companies pursue contracts to sell their goods and services to the government. In addition to Dakota CDC’s contribution of grants of $144,250 and additional funding for IRP lending programs, the PTAC is also supported by the SBA, ND Department of Commerce and USDA Rural Development programs. Since inception, the program has assisted in creation or retention of at least 918 jobs and helped businesses secure over $229,500,000 in government contracts.
